I'm having problems with the mini as accelerate... I have the splutter problem and today I even had a misfire... I've fiddled with the dizzy and found out that the more you screw it on the rev's go down, same when you loosen it a bit... My question is... is there a particular angle for the dizzy to be placed in?

what you are doing is messing with the timing.

you need to get a timing gun and then set it correctly.

to set the timing you have to twist the dizzy have a look in your haynes manual I think it explains it quiet well in there

with a timing gun it takes about 5 min to set up.

you only need to do this usually if you have taken the dizzy out, if its electronic you should never have to touch it once its set.

i usually check mine after ive put new points in it, same with sunshines, apart from that i leave it alone

Good for messing with people in drag race. Twist so it's running C**p, offer challenge then twist back, win, /MONEY!
