Hi,
Last drove my mini on Friday....sadly it has been outside ever since and the rain has just about stopped.
I went to try and start it today and the battery is really low. It wouldn't start and is now virtually dead. Would the weather have done this?? The battery wasn't fully charges before but it has always had enough to start on previous occasions and I can only see the fact that it has been outside in the cold, wet weather as the difference....

Can bad weather affect the electrical power????

Don;t use it regularly as I was fixing it up but it normally lives in a garage. it has been sat for three weeks before I drove it on Friday and started fine.

possibly the batterys on its way out as lead acid batteries need to be used regularly or they degrade very quickly
may be 1 of the cells is dead take it off and give it a good over night charge ,and see what the voltage is like if its less than 12.5v its probly a dead cell
