Sat here not doing much work again, and again as most of these things happen my mind was wondering.

Is there anyone that does custom centre caps or badges?

Like the centres for the mini wings on the later model minis!

I was reading one of the latest mini world issues and saw a web site (Clicky)

Just wondering if anyone had thought about custom to order???

Bobby

I once spoke to a guy at a show, he's at practically everyone, who does all the decal copies and center badges. He said for a set of home made ones I would need to provide the artwork and it would cost about £35 and you had to have 4. That was 2 years ago now.

Maybe thats why it's never kicked off in a big way, if it costs that much.

Well I will probably end up paying it anyway as I have to have some new centre caps made for my new 6X10s as the ones provided are MWS I think and I'm not an advertising board.

I want to stick as closely as possible to original with all the minor changes, being a rare limited edition, so need to get the mini cooper and laurel reef in white on a black background.

Ah well it's only money... *gulp*

The equipment and materials are quite expensive, as I understand it. Ron from Mini Ink can also do them, might be worth a call or contact http://www.mini-ink.com/ :P

Hmm think I'll give them a tinkle as we want to get some window stickers made up for our club, as well as my centre caps.

Cheers for that

They're just bubble badges, loads of places make them. Google it and see how many custom places you can find. Small batches might be tricky though.
