aaaaAAAHHHHH

*Removes volcal cords from ... "somthing"*

*sigh*

Get the mini spares kit. Cooper freeflow manifold. Exhaust should not be more than 1.75inch diameter. Mini spares suppies everything but also buy 2 meter of heater house for hooking up the manifold. Also budget for a rolling road session as the car will run C**p unless you plan to twiddle alot like I do.

Don't forget you 5% mini spares discount.

Also USE THE SEARCH and use the queens English if you will. Text typing is disliked.

*goes to relax for a bit*

sounds like fun to me :techsupport:

you can get a larger bore exit pipe, and retain the 1.75 inch bore for the rest of the system.

also, single box will be louder, but twin box will give you a couple of extra ponies.

i cant tell you where to get it rolling roaded, because i dont know where you are.

look it up on google or something.

its roughly £40 an hour for rolling road, generally allow 2 hours.

if the timing and everything is already spot on it will be quicker.

also, make sure your cooling system is in good nick before you go, and the brakes arent binding, and make sure your car is warmed up on the way there.

ddepends on how well you can get it running after u put the stage 1 on.

mines alright so i havent had it done yet, but i know mine is lean at the top end of the rev range so i just dont go up there.

if it turn out very lean or rish and you drive it, it could cause damage to your engine.

depends how well you can read spark plugs etc.

you could get it static tuned at a shop which might help a bit until you can afford a rolling road.

Ah my friend. The question is being nimble with Ebay. Rc40 Stage 1 from mini spares £176. Being a cheap git and using ebay, here and many deals my price was more like £130 - £140 all done and fitted. My proudest part was my freeflow manifold for £2.50

For bigger motors or small bore motors (with a small bore LCB) then you can but go with freeflow for now. Unless your going for the top end of the small bore world (around 75bhp+) there's not much point. Getting close to that you need to build the engine to take the punishment with big main strap, light weight internals bits like that.

what adam said.

a small bore lcb is good, but a standard lcb you'll see for sale isnt as good as a freelow in terms of what you need.

apparently the freeflow gives better power low down, which is what i'd want.

and adam, £2.50, waaaaaaa???!!!!
