as per title! yesterday managed to get all the jobs done on Millie ready for her Monday morning trip to France, got home from a 12 hour shift at work this evening, popped front wheels off to grease up suspension (last job to do), was putting wheels back on and the stupid rover locking wheel nut adapter has gone and broke grrrrrrrrrrr!!! :D

which now means I cant get the rear wheels off or put the front ones back on! I have 2 spare nuts i can replace the locking ones with but still need another 2 alloy nuts assuming I can get the locking ones off.

I've gotta head to the ferry on sunday afternoon so does anyone happen to be in the Bournemouth area and have 2 spare alloy nuts they can lend me (for a '93 cooper) and is available to bring them round to mine (seeing as I cant drive anywhere now). I can order some more from minispares but they wont be here till next week which is too late.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*goes off to bang head on wall*

why do you want to get the rears off anyway? you dont need to to grease up the radius arm.

and does that mean you can get the front ones on but just there wont be any locking nuts?

Right have calmed down a bit now; basically all the wheels are now on the car. So she's driveable, will give a few garages and Halfords a call in the morning and see if they have the nuts in stock and then get them to take the old locking ones off so I can fit the new nuts.

Bloody Mini's!
