hey all

just wondering if anyone has run their z cars bike powered mini down the 1/4 mile yet.
if so which engine and how much power were you making ?

Running carbed R1 engine with approx 165bhp.

Best 1/4 mile was 12.9 secs but i had no windows and a bulkhead all the way up so acting a bit like a parachute. I think 12.5 secs should be possible.

The first kit R1 fwd from promotive only went out on 26/05/07 according to the website, the prototype for the car the yellow mini has featured in a minifilms DVD, I know it's been to Castle Combe, but I've never seen it at the Mini Showdown for instance doing standing quarters, I know R1minimagic 0-60 time was 4.5 and the R1 fwd mini was 6 on the minifilms DVD so I think it would be reasonable to add 1.5 to 12.5 and come up with low 14s, high 13s as a guesstimate

I am liking the Lynx AE kit as well. is there anyone on this forum that has had this installed as yet. I cant find any more info about it...

oldskoolbaby on here was doing the lynx kit or his car was in there being fitted with one but he isnt on here very often so maybe best getting in contact with them direct?
