Hi folks,
I have just renewed all my brake pipes and cylinders also all the flexis with goodridge stainless hoses and also the pressure reducing valve, but can't get the brakes to bleed right, the pedal goes to about an inch off the floor ,there are no leaks ,and air seems to just keep coming out of the front nearside cylinder no matter how much i bleed it,it is a front rear split system, also does it matter which way round the pipes go from the master cylinder to the presure valve ?i have been round all the brakes about six times bleeding them, all the brakes are adjusted up correctly ,any ideas, could it perhaps be the master cylinder?i am bleeding them rear ns, rear os, front ns, front os.
cheers Dave

you could try slackening pipe connections, particularly those into the master cylinder, and bleeding through them as well .

Assume your pressure valve is the type that mounts below the maste cylinder with four connections?

It would matter if you mixed up the output connectors as this limits the pressure to the rear - you wouldn't want to limit the pressure to the front!

Though I'd imagine if you got it the wrong way round the pedal would be harder not softer.

Would also matter if you have the stepped bore Master cylinder -
