just wondering if u anyone can help me with a mechanical problems i'm having with my engine. its a new recon 1100 engine with twin 1 1\4 su. i had the engine dyno tuned and the mechanic changed the needles. the engine was running fine before the dyno tuned, and achieved a 25% increasing horse power at the wheel. but on the way home i noticed the engine idled pretty low, it splutted and stalled. i took it back and the mechanic said i had a vacuum leak and it was from the brake booster. which is only 18 months old. he clamped the vacuum hose to the brake booster and it improved a bit but not didn't run as well , had less torque as before the tune up. will having. would having the incorrect needles, or lean fuel mixture attributed to this problem. if not could u recommend any other factors that could cause this problem. your help is much appreciated

If it had a vacuum leak he wouldnt have been able to Dyno it properly and should of pointed this out when he was doing it, so once the leak is fixed he should tune it again for £0.

Which RR/Tuner did you take it to ?

would the use of incorrect needles, which were changed when i got the car tuned or the wrong fuel mixture attribute to the idling problem
