depending on the mixing ratio you might just get away with it. I believe its a 2-1 for ICI from memory, so you'll basically get 1.5 litres of paint, which should be just enough. Just depends what it covers like, and if you get a run or any dry spots you could be in trouble.

Yeah 1.5 litres would be fine, Although if I'm spraying a mini I always get 2 litres just to be on the safe side, plus you have a bit left over for touch ups etc.

on finitiy i was told the following
thats way too much, is it going to be solid colour or metalic/pear?
3 liters of solid colour will do a whole exterior of a mini 4 will do inside and out.
2 liters of bascoat will do a whole exterior, and 3 will do inside and out, you'll then need a 4 liters of laquer.

I'm not sure they got the right end of the stick............
You have 1 litre of paint, which will make up to about 1.5 litres once you add the thinners. This should be just about enough, it really depends on the coverage, but you will only find that out when you start painting the car. Sometimes if you are unlucky you'll need loads. I used 4.5l of base and i didn't paint any of the pillars, and i didn't do inside at all.
As for laquer, again it depends how many coats you intend to do, but i wouldn't do many it will quite often darken the paint too much. So around 2 litres of laquer will be fine as it will likely be 2:1 again and therefore you will have 3 litres. It will be too much, but you could always take a can back if its spare.

Am buying it off ebay...cant take it back...would have to sell it or return it LOL
But yeah, thats a decent plan thanks, The guy who is painting it served his time as a painter, so i'd imagine he knows whats what...This wont be getting done till august due to the bank being well uncool and charging me...

I meant returning the laquer as no doubt that will be coming from a paint supplier. Buy more than you need and take it back if its excess. Its a bugger running out half way round the car. lol.
