I want to be able to release my dash fairly easily. Not a problem to release it but it's all the wires to the switches......I was thinking of having plug of some description that I can just uncouple. Any ideas where I would get some sort of plug? I was thinking maybe a caravan towing plug but they are quite big.....

Any advice welcomed ....

Have a look at http://www.vehicle-w...-products.co.uk and http://www.polevolt.co.uk/ loads of multiway plug and socket arrangements on there.

Can't remeber how many wires go to the 3 clock dash, somehwere in the region of 12 maybe a few more.

Have a look at the wires on the steering column, they are attached with plugs that are easy to detach.

I won;t be detaching them.....I have switches for the lights etc going onto the dash so want to wire them to a plug and then into the car loom.

The Headlight and Sidelights take a fair bit of power so I need to make sure the plug won;t get too hot whilst they are on......
