Hey there,

Ive managed to break a few of the studs when i was putting my head back on. How do i get them out?

have they snapped flush with the block or are they sticking out proud?

if they're sticking out then mole grips will shift em, if not then it'll be a lot more difficult. i wouldn't risk a stud extractor on them i'd just drill em out and then if you go too far get the holes helicoiled.

There about 8mm or so down the hole, i could screw the stud back in but i dont want it to snap again and get worse. I ordered new studs though, so might be ok. Rather they where out though

This is a case where if the block is any good and you plan on keeping it, you shouldn't try this yourself. There's too much at stake.

Take it to a machine shop. If you had the head off to have it rebuilt, take the block to them. Ask them to get it out. It will cost money but you'll have the assurance that the job will be done carefully. They've got all the nice machine tools and they don't want to risk having to buy you a new block.
