Hi guys and girls,

last question for today i promise!

Im guna be using miglia arches, so i want something to fill them, i want to go for 12" alloys, and i really like superstars. Now my question is, can you get them in 7x12, as i only seem to be able to find them in: 6x12 or 7x13.

Cheers

James

if your going for the miglia look, go low and wiiiiide. so go for some nice 10x6s or 10x7s, ideally split rims but that will depend on how much your willing to spend!

Doubt you can get road legal tyres for 10x7s without them being stretched on the rims. Same can be said for the 12x7s and to be honest 13x7s are a little too much for the mini, giving un wieldy handling. Most of the time the 13x7s are fitted with the wrong tyres again stretching them on the rims. whats the point in having a wheel thats wider than the contact patch on the road? :- not only that but streached tyres really do look pants.

Of course this is just my educated opinion.

If you have enough money I'm sure they might be persuaded to make you up a batch.

What road legal tyres will fit on 7x10's? or would it be a case getting 6inch wide tyres, and having them stretched?

All road legal 10" tyres are already stretched on a 6" wide rim. Read my first post, why have rims that are wider than the contact patch of the tyre?? defeats the point and they look pants.

You can get non road legal tyres that will fit, but then you wouldnt be able to use the car on the road and whats the point in that if its not a race car?
