Hi,

I've done couple of searchs on the forum but couldn't find to the answer to this one.

My Car: 91 Mini Cooper.
- final drive ratio 3.4? correct?
- crown wheel / pinion 3.1? correct?

So would that make my car 3.1 x 1.1 = 3.41 final drive?

Should be the same.

In fourth the drive the goes straight through the gearbox - 1:1

so ratio of the diff = final drive.

Can also be altered with transfer gears, but they're also 1:1 as standard

Just trying to work out what my final drive is. I've got standard crownwheel + pinion, however my transfer gears are 1.08 not the normal 1.1.
