should the pushrod move in + out (aporx 1cm either way)

i can t remember what it was like before,

but everytime i move the accelerator after changing gear theres a knocking sound

with this wobble think it may be this.......

The knocking noise is most likely to be due to worn out steady bar bushes allowing the engine to move and as a result the exhaust to hit the body. The clutch push rod is not physically fitted to the cylinder, it is just pushed by it. If there is no load against the clutch release mechanism the rod will be free to move.
