Hey, i've recent sprayed a new bonnet and when i applied the laquer, the finish went in an "orange peel" effect. ;D

Before i applied the laquer, and poured some water over the paint, the finish looks perfect, a sharp reflection. When i put on the laquer, the finish has gone all "orange peelly". I guess this may be due to the ration of laquer to thinners, but im not sure. What is the correct ratio, and if this is not the problem, what could be the cause?

Oh yeah, another thing, i am using a compressor (just incase you were wondering)

Cheers James
