Hello all, Im Dom.
Just bought a mini from a friend a few days ago. Its a 1989 998 racing flame in racing green. It needs a fair bit of work doing but its MOT'd till august, so for now im just enjoying it.
Ive put at least a couple of hundred miles on it since I got it, mostly just driving for the joy of it, I cant believe how well this car drives, not having to slow down for corners or roundabouts is amazing, hehe.

Im sat here on my computer and I keep looking out of the window to see it, It is starting to take over my life already, even after only a few days of owning it, hehe.
Just a quick question for now, could anyone tell me what model my mini is? for example I hear people talking about Mk1, M2's etc.

Anyway, I shall stop going on now, hehe
I expect I shall be annoying you with many many questions shortly,

Sounds like you've got all of the syptoms and there is no cure. The only known treatment is regular bouts of spirited driving.

I can see this forum being the saviour of my mini, as I really dont have a clue, hehe.

Bluemini, luckily for me, my other half LOVES the mini as much as I do, hehe. God knows how many miles weve put on it in the week weve had it. Were going up to York in it tommorow, I think its about 90 miles round trip from here, that will be the longest trip out in it so far, cant wait.
