175x50R13 will be fine as long as you have spacer drums on the back

there was somewhere you could get whitewalls, but they only came in standard sizes, like 145/70 10'' etc.

which yoko's was you wanting?

if you go for yoko's a048's you will definate get rubbing on 205's

175 on a 7" rim will stretch like hell i must warn!! hence why i went for 205's but the problem i have now is the tyre is rubbing on the arms, inner arch and me springs so custom arms and cutting the archs (tubbing they call it i believe :s) are all on the cards

When i got my 7x13 i emailed yoko to ask which is best tyre for the size.

i have got 205/60/13.

Reason is that the 175/50/13 will be so stretched that they "might" pop the rim on high speed corners.

Better safe than dead!

(i also have 6x13 on the front wearing 185/60/13)

ok thanks for all your help
would the problem be different on another brand of tyre
and how serious is the possiblity of tyres popping the rim in normal driving as i dont do high speed
cornering
and how much of an issue is the rubbing the car is not used every day doing about 2/3000 miles per year

yer most people run 195/50/13's on 7's thats not too bad think they are abit streched but yoko don't do 195 in the a048's

this is how wide 205/60/13's are under the arch....

they arn't attached to the rear arms..... because they catch + i need spacers on them... large spacers
