Would that even fit under a standard bonnet? Doesn't look like it. Anybody used/got one of these engines? Where do you go about a aquiring a bini supercharger, a bini cooper s right off or something?

So what sort of machining/modifications need doing to fit one of these? and where do you get the chagers from
look on ebay there are two companys doing them
v scart max now does it as a self build kit
have to run lower compresion and change jets etc in the carb
but nothing that anyone who can fix a standard car could not do
just building another one 1340cc this time stage 3 metro turbo head and should be injected and wasted spark ignition so will have more power and even better to drive than least one

yeah it says on their website that 185 has been seen on a 1330! So could be more on a 1380 with the right tuning.
Anyway the big ready built kits from Vscart look pretty expencive at about £1500 but they also do a the kit in raw form which could make a great project. The raw form kit includes everything apart from the charger and pulley (the pully is £120 and the chargers are £150 on ebay) and the kit is only £180! So thats £450, plus you'd you'd need a suitable head (£375) and a load of tuning and things done but looking at those prices looks like most of it could be done at home for under a grand.
Sounds like one of the best price-power ratio engine options i'v seen.

Would be very surprised if it makes 180.
Thats pushing the limits on the Eaton since its not that efficent a supercharger and is a hink sink as well.
Aim for 130 and be happy with anything above that.
Its better to have decent power and be reliable, than high power and always fixing it.
