Wiring my amp in tomorrow, few questions. Its amp powering single sub, straight from headunit.

There are 4 phono sockets, 2 labeled L/R line through and 2 labeled L/R low input.

Which 2 do i use?

Then theres a switch, which has options ST and MO, says Bridged underneath it.

Is this stereo and Mono, i guess i use ST?

The 3 level knobs i understand, vol, bass and treble.

Then theres a plug socket, has 4 pins in it and says HI INPUT....

is this needed?

The power and speaker wiring i understand. Cheers guys.

right well, the LINE THROUGH sockets are if you plug together more than 1 amp, this allows the use of the same signal coming from the head unit to go to both (or more amps) depending on what amp it is, it will use either just the single pair of other phonos, or it will go through the line through. wont harm when it comes to testing. cannot damage the amp/headunit in any way.
if its going to a single sub, not 6x9's etc, then use MONO.

the 4 pin plug socket (which will be white) is for use with pre-outs using usually more than 4-5V running through the cable.

right its in. Its on Mo, bridged (spk ch 1 pos and spk 2 pos on my amp)

I am getting voices thru the sub, on both low input and straight thru.

The 2 phono wires come from line out on the headunit.

i see, ummmm well, i dont think theres much you can do about it if its not got a LPF on it, it should be fine anyway, does it sound any good?

i put a 10" JBL in the back of mine for a while, with my components, and it sounded strangely good
