Hi all! I'm looking at getting some wide alloys on my pickup.

Are there only certain arch extensions that'll fit, or will normal Mini saloon extensions fit?

Also, what's everyone's opinion of nice looking alloys on a pick-up... Open to suggestions.

Cheers,

Rich. :)

personally i like to see pick-ups staying on 10inch wheels, don't mind nice wide ones, but i think the pick-ups are one of the few minis that look old and 12inch plus wheels don't suit.
but then its your car and you should go ahead and do what you like to it, that's half the fun of having a mini.

definitely seen pick-ups with standard mini "special" arches and wood and picket arches but don't know if you have to modify them to make them fit.

Yeah, I really am in two minds. I've seen a few pick-ups lately with wide alloys and arches, some I like and some I don't. I'm still tempted to keep it original with just the chrome trim running along each side and standard steel wheels... We'll see how I feel next week, probably change my mind again! :)

Wood and Pickets look great on pickups I personally think, with some nice 10x5/6 minilites :) Unsure of the modifications thou needed for the arch.

you can still go for some nice alloys without having to fit arches, just don't go mad on the width.

Obviously the front arches will fit, You just need to do something about the backs.
You tried contacting people like Smudger?

but every one to their own :)

i had standard rover minilights (4.5x12) in my Pickup (Paul Smith blue) with W&P Style, looked lovely.

Narrow Gp2 also look good for me.

But i dont like em on 13" unless its a Monster with the load bay cut out.

I'm guessing that anything beyond the 4.5 width and I would have to legally have arch extensions?
