I'm told genuine arches will have a number stamped on them could anyone shed any light as to where this will be and what sort of number.

They are heavy (compaired to copies) and should be grey.
Copies are VERY flexable.

ok but i have not seen them in the flesh to judge the weight so any other ways.

Im fairly sure that the genuine have self tapp screws whereas the non-genuine have studs. The non-genuine are as said earlier very flexible, any mini shop would be happy to show u both or one or the other.ok but i have not seen them in the flesh to judge the weight so any other ways.

Also the price will be an indicator, if they sounds too cheap they probably are.

My genuine ones had studs. (And yes they were definitely genuine and came in bags with rover stickers on)

its all in the flexibility to be honest. If they feel fairly solid and give a nice feedback when u twist em they they probs genuine.
