Anyone know how yo remove the rear sliding windows & frame... i could smash it off, but i thought "what the hell" lets learn something today.. Im plating them up with ally sheets.

According to the manual....
1. Remove the trim panel from above the sliding windows.
2. Remove the upper channels, support the inside and push the glass from the outside.
Trying to find a picture, but no luck...

Take off the cant rail trim pad and then you can release the fixed window meaning both glasses will slide. Remove the vertical window channels at the front and rear by unscrewing them and remove the screws from the upper channel. Slide both the glasses to the front and pull the back of the upper channel down out of the bodywork, then slide the whole lot backwards to remove the channels and glasses. Lastly remove the lower channel.
Or if you remove all the trim from the interior window frame you can release all the nuts from the clips for the exterior frame, take the frame off the body and remove the window by unscrewing the channels and taking the whole window assembly out as one. This is probably the easiest way but you do risk damaging the paintwork and frame and clips which are NLA, and there are about 16 nuts and washers each side which you really don't want to loose. They are fairly small and I seem to remember having trouble finding replacements.
The book method is the way a garage would do it as it means taking apart as little as possible and no real risk to the bodywork, but if you're stripping the whole car then the other way is possibly easier.

I agree with Dan, the easiest way has to be to remove the outside trim by removing all the nuts etc. from the inside. Gives a good chance to paint the area behind the trim which would only have got primer from the dipping bath at the factory.
