As some of you may know, I'm in the process of restoring a '72 mini, and I would like some seats dimensions of around this year (mk3), as I'm going to be looking for alternative seats in more common cars over here ex)Honda, Toyota etc...
(for those who have followed my "saga" the Triumph Seats will not fit). THanks for any and all help!

Hi , i just had to make 2 small brackets up as the runners on the Crx seats are further apart than mini ones . i also put a pair of bolts in the rear two holes two act as legs to allow the seat to miss the cross member that goes under the seatsthese mods were too the frame? or the seat,....thanks, and i still would appreciate dimensions from all you

you could have a look at cobra clubman bucket seats i know these fit snug in a mini and finding dimensions for them should be easy as most retailers have them on their sites
Hope this helps

I think the rules here are 4 or 6mm thick material for any kind of seat brackets.
Worth checking whats applicable to you?
