totally depends on your engine... if you have a sock motor, then the stock clutch will do, and if its a verto, it's quite likely that the original is still perfectle servicable...

its the torque thats its capable of holding thats important, not the bhp.

lets hope that the backplate lugs have been machined to the right height aswell seeing as it comes with 9 driving straps, if it hasn;t been modified then it wont handle as much as it should.

well im looking at running to 120 bhp but that seems an awful lot of bunce to get there, surely the uprated one would be able to take it!?!?

Hi
I have a 1400 super charged engine, and a standard clutch which came from my old 998- which slipped from 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd in hard changes, i havnt been able to drive my car yet to tell but i am guessing i will need a new better clutch

Any ideas or which are the best ones.

Also does a lightweight flywheel make that much difference and will i be better off with one?

Cheers

you'll be needing to swap to a pre-verto clutch setup with an AP rally plate and an orange diaphragm or maybe a grey depending on how much torque you're putting out. Not sure of the point you need a grey but when i went over 120lb/ft i just swapped the std turbo verto setup for a lightened pre-verto setup with a grey and its been fine at over 170lb/ft.
