Nobody offers a white wall tyre over here any more, not on a radial anyway. You might get some US import radial white walls but not in Mini sizes. Those look like white wall trims in that photo, rubber discs that you fit to the tyre yourself, jamming them between the rim and the tyre. They come in white or red. Vintage car places will sell them. They creak as you drive though because they rub against the tyre wall where it flexes.

Also if you don't have any luck finding them for cars.... You can get stick on white walls for scooter wheels, being as scooter wheels are generally smaller these days,... you might find a 10" one or 12" inch one. They stick on, or, as dan sais,.. are clamped inbetweeen the bead of the tyre and the rim.

Yeah them ones above are trims by the look of it because they're the same tyres as I've got on mine (Falken FK07e's) and I doubt they ever made them like that lol!

I bet there is some sort of paint out there which you can use aswell.

They don't creak if you fit them using the special 'grease' supplied with them! It's not actually grease, but some sort of non- abrasive/non-corrosive silicone lubricant...... It lets the tyre and whitewall trim move independantly and stops any rubbing between the two.

My sister had whitewalls on her mini, (probably the very first) it was featured in mini magazine years ago and they said they'd never seen one before!! :w00t: It did seem to start a trend.....

Anyway, her's were 12" and we got them from a place called 'Bravo Automotive' they advertise in Practical Classic I think... if they don't supply ten inch, I'm sure you'll find a company that does if you look hard enough through the classic ads!

You can also get good quality whitewall tyre paint (Frost's sell it), it would be fiddly to mask off, but done properly it could be very successful.......

Good luck! :w00t:

Yep, that's what we were paying for them years ago! So I'd say go for that.... :w00t:

Also, find out if he sells them as singles, if you ever catch a kerb or something while parking (and I mean just touching the tyre) they will shred up or mark badly, so you might need to replace them one at a time....
