I saw this at Combe as well. I think I have a pic of it somewhere will have a looky. The new plans sound good anyway.

Only a small update

The brake pedal box has been relocated inside the car
Suspension has been sent away to have the shocks rebuilt
New rear springs on order
New bumpers and bonnet have been sourced
The engine build is nearing completion and should be strong enough for 500bhp
The turbo has been sent off for major mods to provide the 380bhp we are planning on running
A doner Rover 620ti has been sourced for its wiring loom, this will be stripped over the coming weeks

Plenty left to sort out but its getting there slowly

That's alright mate :)

I saw you tinkering, but you (or your mate) looked at me weirdly. :)

Again I noticed this at castle coombe. So cool having a supposed shed (no offence) as a track car. I bet people aren't too happy when you overtake them in their posh sports cars at trackdays lol.

Got a little done over Christmas

The trial engine has been removed from a 620ti and placed into Gooony, a Maestro turbo swan neck water pump has been fitted to the T series (just redrill the pump mounting holes to 10mm) and an O series engine mount has been shaved to miss the timing belt

To fit the pump you need a T series belt, O series tensioner, O series pump and pulley and an O series alterantor bracket

All the T series pumps and mount can now be binned and holes filled with a core plug and a bolt so no need to modify the front cross member. If you wanted to keep power steering I suspect a Monty/Maestro one could be mounted

The new wiring loom has been started but is still a long way off completion

A couple of phone pictures, I'll get some better ones soon

Nice one! =]

Liking the position of the Exhaust.

I can't remember, but is this a track day car or is it entered into races? :\

It's a former race car, now track days only as I wanted to make changes to the car that weren't permitted by the regulations and I don't have the money to change to an unregulated series for the car to be competitive.
