Does anyone like these cars?
I'm finding a strange liking to them, or cars that shape etc.

Oooh i love them, especailly lowered with wide but small wheels on them

Looking standard apart from that is the best way

My dad used to have an Imp, the windscreen once popped out!

Do all of them have no side mirrors, nor rear wipers??

I do think they have side mirrors but not rear wipers, not many cars didthen!

i used to have an imp years ago, you can have the engine out of the back and on the floor in about 30 mins once you've done it a few times.

The rear window opens. Has that just been an modification?
Or so they all do that? Its rather unusual?!

It was a standard feature on most Imps and my uncle had a blue 1965 Imp for years back in the 1970's.

I always liked the sound of the engine and the look of it too, but even though it had slightly more internal room than a Mini (well it is a slightly bigger car), it never earned a fraction of the success that the Mini achieved and neither is it a British icon either.

Nice car but plagued with production problems throughout it's life and it died a silent death and was forgotten about in 1976.

Exactly and you may be tempted but the path to heaven is Mini shaped.

watching that vid made me want one. but then watch the mini ones after and it sorts you out =)

Ginger Marshall a well known club Mini racer in the 1970s built and raced a Mini with a 1000cc Imp engine on a Mini gearbox as the Imp engine was a Coventry-Climax derived high reving all alloy overhead cam engine, so a lot more advanced than the A series, (less reliable though in road tune). This gave the best of both worlds, the Minis handling combined with the Imps power advantage and mean't the 1000cc Minis started winning in special saloons again when a few others also copied the idea.

The Hillman Imp and the Singer Chamois are great cars, really really fun handling

I always liked Hillman Hunters. My Brother had one as his first car, pretty quick too.
