ever since i changed my head gasket my car, once warm idles at aroun 1100rpm, which is irritating and no doubt no good for the car, so i went to adjust the screw that controls the idle, to find theres nowhere to put the screw driver, its flat and i cant figure out any way of turning it down

anyone know of any way of adjusting it without replacing the whole carb?

Hif or HS ?

Drastic tactic - drill it to take a small screw extractor

Even more drastic - ill the head off and wind it out by grabbing the threaded end.

Quick botch - file the end of the screw shorter.
