Just wondering what sort of results i'd get by putting on bike carbs onto a moderatly tuned 1275, i have some gsxr 750 carbs sat in the shed but i'm not sure if they'd put enough though so would i be looking more along the lines of gsxr1000/R1 carbs? Obviously i'd have to get an inlet mani fabricated, who's done it before, how does it run? also any pics of how they've been mounted? i've had a look and was thinking of leaving them in the same place as before, but on old triumphs i know you can fabricate the head to have the manifold ports at the front of the engine, i dont think this would be possible on a mini though!

very interesting, looks fiddly with R1 carbs, i may have a crack with gsxr carbs as they all sit in line with each other, i may strip the ones i have in the shed down and have a look at fuel lines and linkages etc, anyone else done anything similar? it seems fairly uncommon which i like!

Can't see it being anymore work with different carbs than the R1 ones, you still have to have make your own inlet which is the hardest part.
Than just looking at the fuel and throttle cable
Depending on your tuning experience you may need to find a Rolling road which knows their way round bike carbs
