Woop, almost ready for Riv Run

Kel did the loom for us in the end and fitted the new brake discs and pads too. As per usual with Freddie, it wasn't quite so easy as plug and play with the loom

Freddie's connectors didn't match up with the new loom, so Kel had to do a bit of playing about to get it to fit. But first try starting him up and VROOOOM!!

It was so good to drive him back home and have brakes that didn't cause the car to judder

Plus stopping power has increased as well, always a plus

So, as Neil had a pretty nasty hangover on Friday, we didn't get round to doing anything else to Freddie until yesterday, where we:
- Swapped Freddie's old 5x12 minilites with his new 6x12 Revos that were on Sonic, which took a long ass time!!

- Oil change
- New oil filter in
- New sump plug in
- Tried emptying the radiator so we could flush it out and put new water in, but couldn't get the sensor off to empty it

- So instead, just topped up the coolant and water in the rad...
- Roof rack off
- Emptied him and the boot
- Changed the front two seats as the old drivers' one had collapsed.
- Annoying thing is the new seats we had bought won't fit unless we bolt them to the floor, which I don't really want to do, so took the old Cooper seats from the SPI and put them in instead.

We also sprayed Neil's wellers and steering wheel.

Didn't do a lot today, just:
- Cleaned him inside and out, the paint is sooooooo bad now

need to do something about the roof really...
- The front wheels were rubbing on the arches, the lovely Alex Crosse kindly cut out what was needed and now there's only a little bit of rubbage

- He also had a look at the washer jet pump that wasn't working and got that to work, yay!

- Unclogged the driver's washer jet (again...), only for it to clog up again, so going to fit some new ones tomorrow.
- Cleaned up the left, front indicator that was playing up again, the connector had gotten really gunked up, so that works now too
- Stuck the sound deadening and carpet that keeps falling down in the passenger footwell back up, now it no longer sits in the footwell, hooray for spray on adhesive!

I'm liking the new wheels

Tomorrow's to do list:
- Fit the new speakers and wire them up
- Fix the stereo wiring
- Fit new washer jets, might need new tubing...
- Wire the cigarette lighter back in
- Put the passenger window on to the new runners
Decided not to fit the new fuel cap on, don't want some tool to come along and try to steal the fuel again by ripping it off

And I think that is it...

yeah...
