Put on his clear indicator lenses on Sat and my, he looks purdy
I didn't have time to do an oil change on Sat and then was busy all day Sun and Mon
Neil's got to go to minispares today so he's picking me up some new cones, finally!! Been meaning to get these for ages, soon he'll be sitting properly on the front
Thinking about making my own boot liner kit

He's wet himself before but for some reason that leak seems to have disappeared

Anywho, I did however, manage to put his E.L.M.O club stickers up
Here's the side sticker:

And the rear window one too

When I was in the back of Freddie doing the stickers I noticed the carpet was a bit wet
It's a bit blurry, but here's where I pulled up the carpet and water was just dripping out of the sound proofing

I mopped up all the water, took the sound proofing out and now it's dripping off my balcony
I noticed this kinda dent in the floor which also has cracks all over it...could this be a source of the water??

Not sure if you can see this very well in the pic, but there's an odd hole in the floor, which has a bit of rust around it's opening as well as being damp no matter how many times I wiped the water off. Thinking maybe the water's coming in here?

Well after that, I thought I'd see how shiney Freddie would get using the polish we got in the l2b run pack and did a little shine up of his driver door and some of his scuttle as I got bored and liked the shineyness
Not sure if you can see the difference in shineyness between the door and the rest of the body but oh well!

And his now half shiney scuttle!

We found an auxillary socket thing for Freddie so he can charge things up now

Del fabricated a plate for it and attached it next to the heater switch panel and wired it in to the ignition
Then on sunday we finally got round to changing the front suspension cones (well Neil did!), only thing was that like most of the other bolts on Freddie the ones that needed undoing had rusted over and seized
The cone somehow worked loose of the compressor tool and expanded with such force that it shot the nipple bit (yeah, technical term I know
So, only one cone was changed...on the side that was fine but we thought we might as well change both if we were changing one. The ride is noticeably harsher now
Whilst Neil was doing the cone, I made tea, changed Freddie's side repeaters (with a little help as I couldn't get the old units out
Also emptied Freddie out of his old 10w40 oil and filled him up with his new, green 20w50 stuff with his new oil filter
Oh yeah...think I must have put the screw into a wire or something when I put the ignition barrel casing thing back on

Ooooh! Thanks for reminding me Dog!
They were made by Ron Bones with help from SazalGreat quality, great to deal with and they were very fast making them up and posting them to us
I'd recommend them to anyone!
Here's a linky to Ron's site ---> Clicky
Hehe!
Lily has those funny cracks in her floor too, but I think there suppose to be like that!

Last weekend we took out my old suspension cones and trumpets as when we'd changed one of the cones it'd moved and driving 20 miles on it hadn't helped things
The trumpet wasn't coming out at all as it'd moved slightly too, so a chisel and a hammer soon had that flying out in pieces
Decided that I might as well get hi-los now and fit them all round as well as replacing all of the cones.
The brand new cone that was buggered!

So last weekend was spent taking out the old front cones and trumpet and putting the new cones in and fitting the hi-los.
This weekend, we took out the old cones and trumpets from the rear and fittied the hi-los with the new cones
Oh yeah, finally got a picture of my cigarette lighter. Took it out this weekend and sprayed the plate black but forgot to take an 'after' photo

Bought a new set of front seats as Neil keps complaining about standard seats giving him backache
See the difference between the new and old seats

Went to Buckingham and back on Sat via minispares to pick up a few things, Neil fitted the new seats in.
Mid-way through the job

And both seats are in

They're quite grubby and a little tatty but they're going to be re-covered at some point anyway, they're going to get a good steam cleaning when I get a chance to go home and do it. They're really nice and comfy

Neil doesn't think the idiot who put the stage 1 kit on Freddie sealed the exhaust when he did it
Oil keeps leaking too, probably because the washer for the sump plug was a bit buggered when I did an oil change last month
Got a new washer and sump plug, but the washer ended up on Neil's today as his was a bit buggered

But yeah, a winter indoors might do him good as his rust is getting quite bad out in this weather
