Going to give him a good greasing up so he won't wake up all creaky and stiff from his winter sleep next year, although we'll probably give him a short run up the road every month or so just to keep him limber
What Freddie did next!

Freddie about to be tucked up

All tucked up!

Like I said, he's out and about now, just got to get his bloody tax disc, ordered it over two months ago and it hasn't shown up yet even though I've called them many a time, got to go and pick one up instead

I haven't been updating much, mostly as there's not really been anything to say!! After the mot, Freddie had new tyres all round
Silly mini had been running pretty rubbish, not idling well, cutting out, needing the choke out for ages and just not performing well
But as we're using him for Riv Run, I thought it best to get him running as best as he could so to Kel's he went for a good service
His windows are finally back on the runners now as well, which means I can open my windows without worrying that they're going to fall down and scare the living daylights out of me!
Dan also gave some of his chrome bits a bit of a polish and removed most of the surface rust so Freddie's looking a bit shinier now
I'm back in love with mini driving again now that Freddie's running well again!

Went for a meet with E.L.M.O and a little run, but soon noticed that Freddie was leaking

Not a huge lot to report, poor Freddie hasn't had much loving lately
Buuuuuuut......stoopid mini decided that he didn't want to start one day in Nov
Started to get out to get Neil, then tried once more and he started
A week later I went to use him again...was very hesitant to start again
The week after, he wouldn't start at all. Just keep getting clicking noises
Then his MOT ran out a couple of days before Christmas and what with the holidays and going skiing a couple of weeks ago, we haven't had the time to have a good poke around to see why on earth he's playing up.
He's had a new, more powerful alternator, new pug diesel battery and earth strap in the past year and a half
We'll definitely get him up and running in time for Riv Run but we'll have to see when we get the time to do it...

After almost 4 months of not running and sitting outside in the rain (sorry Freddie
That's my boy
I was going to put him in for a full service, but as he's supposedly running great we'll just do a little service at home before Riv Run and plenty of driving him before then too
Hoping to have enough monies saved up for after this show season so I can get Freddie done up finally!
Oh well, the plans are starting to be put in place anyway, we'll get rid of all the rusty bits, possile flip front, possible engine change, respray in a totally different colour, new arches, wheels, interior, the lot!

Mebbes, though it may not be an entire engine change, maybe just mods. Haven't made my mind up on that one still!!
Good Freddie
