I'm going to be spraying my mini soon and while I want it painted black, I'm worried about the way that gloss black is supposed to magnify imperfections. I'm considering satin black as matt black seems to have a bad reputation and looks a bit tacky imo. I saw this on the 'bay and wondered if anyone has any experience with this kind of paint and if so if it's any good.

The real stuff is Infra red reflective 'n costs a packet!

Dunno about that on Ebay, but the stuff her majesty let me use to paint my Mini Olive Green dried glossy: but I'd did slop it on almost neat with a brush :shifty:

It was only supposed to be undercoat but it was on for the best part of a year before I got the it all back to the same colour - bombproof paint tho'.

Best way to get a Matt / satin finish is to flat it 'n not polish up as much if at all.
