My Mini is orange
Its proper name is vermillion red i think. Pic below

My Mini is 1981 and the log book says Vermillion redVermilion was an early 80's colour, on lots of Metros. They brought out another red that was almost identical just to confuse you - Cinnibar???

Saw 1 today go past work, the sun was on it and it looked sooo nice, i started day dreaming from then on about the mini lmao.
Don't Know how easy/cheap its going to be to get hold of the paint though, i still haven't managed to find the paint code. anyone know what it is?

I can tell you that it's a MASSIVE ball ache if you get stone chips etc and need to get it touched up or a panel repsrayed.

there is a bright ford orange (mk2 escorts) and a VW one from the 70's (mk1 golfs/polo's/bettles) but I can't remeber their names/ codes
cheers craig will look into it....must get the one i want!!!

The code is 6FSE,... and it's called Electric orange.
