There is also Fiat orange on the latest Grande Punto Sporting that I really like the look of - similar to the Focus orange but just different enough not to be the same as the rest of the crowd using the Ford ST colour.

Go here:

Change the 'version' to one of the Sporting 3 dr range
Change colour to 'Caribbean Orange'

Fiat colour - god only knows, but as it is on a new, sporty model car I would expect metallic if not pearlescent or even fancier.

I'm thinking of getting the ST colour but solid instead of metallic, just to be a little different.

not that dear - 22.50 a litre in standox B&L - just bought Ford RS blue with mica pearl mix - looks lush especially when the lacquer goes on.
used less than 1/2 a litre doing both sides of bonnet - 3 coats over white primer - I'd guess at 2 litres for the full car. You only do it once ( in theory ) so use some good quality paint.
