if i were to just fit lowerd shock absorbers on my mini will it make my mini lower?
thanks
No.... and they wont fit either.
Shocks have nothing to do with the ride height on a mini,... To go lower you need to get some Hilos which effectively give you an adjustable alloy trumpet rather than the solid one as standard. When You wind this adjustable trumpet down,... the car's ride height goes down.
If you're on standard shocks and go very low, you will then need to get lowered shock mounts so that you can fit some lower shocks that are also stiffer. Else you'll be bouncing off the tarmac etc.

lowered shocks are for lowered cars with std shock mounts, and are usually adjustable so they an be as soft or stiff as you want them to be.
change one or the other, not both.
the bit about the hi-lo's is right tho

To be a lil bit picky hilo's aren't the only way to lower your Mini and swapping shocker mounts only really applies to the front end.
Ok then, you could also cut the alloy trumpet down rather than fit Hi-los, or get softer cones, You could fit coil overs and do it that way,...

lol
What happens if you fit both lowered shocks & lower shock brackets with Hi-lo's to reduce the ride height?
