I am planning on driving from South Woodford to Lowestoft tomorrow night up the A12 a distance of some 116 miles and my wife and inlaws have some reservations if my Mini will make it.
What do you think and any advice?

what condition is the mini in?... surely you're the best judge since it's your car 
just make sure you've got planty of oil, coolant is all fine and levels are good, check brake fluid...
If everyhthuing like that seems fine, go for it.
I drove a 998 city E from the cotswolds, to Birmingham, to Wrexham, to bromsgrove, and back to the cotswolds in one day... All was fine!

Its done 100K with a slight oil leak but not major and the clutch sticks sometimes.

You should be ok.
We won mine on ebay, and had to drive it back from Cromer to Winchester (about 250miles) and didnt have a problem- used hardly any oil, and all on just over a tank of fuel.

I can't see that its going to be a problem,if your mini's in good health.
