My indicator on one side flashes normaly but the other side dont flash it just stays on, its not a bulb out so i wouldered, do indicators have a flashed unit for each side? Or will it be a relay thats gone?

umm doesnt have one for each side..

I had the exact same problem a few weeks back. In the end it was just a dodgy earth connection on the driver side front indicator, causing the side repeater to stay on. Disconected it, cleaned the earth connection and screwed it all back together, and it seems to be fine now.

So check and clean all earths and connections, and also i've been told if a bulb is on its way out it can cause this problem.

i think on older cars, the relay is just a bi-metal strip which heats up when current passes through and opens the connect (turns light off) then opens (light on) once it cools down a touch... a poor connection may result in failure to reach the desired activation temp... if it were both sides, i'd be saying relay, but i concur with the above.

iv sorted it.. it was a bad earth :( cheers people :)
