Had a new idea for my mini, what do you guys think-
Mainly got the idea from mix and matching of other owners minis.
My mini is currently like this-

After looking at photos of other simular black minis i have the idea of changing the gril to a wavey grill with a mk1 style surround (think it looks far nicer)

And glime green sportspack wheels (this is a clash but i plan to change the interiour to match)
e.g. clock surrouns in the dashboard will be a matching colour.
Some green led's inside the dash. Possibly getting new seats in black and see if i can get green trim around the edge.

Almost forgot, matching lime green wide bonnet stripes

So what you think?
I recon it would look good when it's all done, any other ideas how to make the green match more as i really think it looks cool

I think you can get lime green seat belt harnesses as well? Not sure if you need/want your back seats tho.

Sounds great, but i dont think the bonnet stripes would look good. Just the arches and roof, maybe put grille buttons on and paint them. And match the interior, like harnesses, gear stick and hand brake gaitor etc.

I like the green arches, have you thought about getting matching bonnet strips, that would look cool.

If you must do the green then I'd NOT do bonnet stripes. I would however do the roof and engine bay in the same color. I'd also suggest doing the interior in basic black with green accents (door furniture perhaps, or green TRIM on the leather, etc.). With such a jarring color contrast, less will definitely be more.

I've been een chatting to the owner of that black and green one pictured above tellling him my plans (dont want to 'rip' someone elses mini design and idea off them) and he was saying go for it mate. Heres some more photos of it and interiour-

More i see it more i like it, tempted by a rollcage, for looks and safety (had one crash and was scary enough, but different to one pictured here so doesnt get in way of getting in and out of the car)

The more pics i look at the more i want to do it. Looks so good!

Ill photoshop bonnet stripes before i get them to see what would look like.
