I think they charge £150+ for each door. you send them to em and they reskin em and send them bak to you. Cheaper than buying new doors!

Yeah but a pair of 2nd hand fairly rust free doors cost £70-100 on their own. Rather spend the extra and get it done properly.

so you send your door to them they send you a recon 1 in return for £90 odd all inc (bottom arepair and skin)
there is nothing about a ally door skin on that link.

i think you have to go for the streetfighter doors to get the ally skin ones but i am sure if you ring and talk to him then he will do a normal door with the ally skin although it seems pretty pointless in having a lightweight skin and still have all the door internals

Yeah, just replacing the metal skin for an alloy one is pointless if youre doing it for weight reduction. If you're doing it to prevent the tinworm fairy opening a can of whoop ass on your doors, then that's fair enough!

I have a pair of these alloy doorskins, £30 each, come complete with sound pads, sealant and some angle bar which are used for the bottom window channel, I can't remember how much I paid for the skins and stuff but I'm sure it was quite a bit more

I'm based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire

Cheers
David

i might see what tdk can do, i might go fiberglass. altho not as light as a fiberglass door, it stops all the bending out at the top at speed malarky!
