1992 1275 Rover Mini Cooper SPI

The car start without problem. Idle not really steady. It moves around 800 to 900 rpm and occasionally almost die. On acceleration there is a number of flat spot at around 2300 to 2500 rpm. This occur on all gears. However the engine rev without any problem. If I really put the accelerator down, there is no flat spot on all gears. What do i need to look out for please help. All vacuum hoses just change recently.

not sure if this will help but this happened to both me and my mate after we messed with the injector (put a bigger one in lol) after changing it back car ran sound again at all rev range,also my car ran like a bag of poo for a while after lots of messing i found it was the small vacum pipe had a small hole in it (the black on to the map sensor) once replaced £1.20 from local car shop it solved everything no more hunting at idle and goes throw the rev range sound once again
