stage 3 as in 35x29 valves?

depends how crazy and where you drive.....

i got 36x31 on my 1430 and its not too bad 20-25 round town on single carb.....the carbs guzzle not really the head

Depends how you have the carbs set up and what your driving style is.

To make more power you need to use more fuel, so your fuel comsumption will increase, however the SW5 cam is very nice, and apparently still returns very good mpg, so I should imagine that your set up will be ok.

shouldnt really, will increase the fuel consumtion a little, everthing does, however noticable. your looking for more power, and essentially, to get more power you need more fuel in the engine.

A stage 3 wouldnt be too noticable though. Depends on your right foot, carb too.

If the engine is set up to fuel correctly, then fuel consuption becomes a part of self control.

25MPG is cra.p, i got 36mpg with 100bhp, 3.7 diff 1399cc, over 1200 miles and every driving style.

That IS the difference between carb and injection :D

As said before an engine an engine should not use more fuel with performance parts,as it should be burning fuel more effeicently due to less resrictions ect,U will be making more power so will not have to use all of it for everyday driving(well thats the idea),

I don`t know why people think that if u have twins ect u use more fuel, engine has to have correct air/fuel ratio i think this is 14/1 correct me if i`m wrong
