What Should I Look For When Buying A Mini

Hi,
what should i look for when buying a mini i'am looking at a mini and it's a auto not a manual on saturday and it deos not run and not saw if the brakes work and the last time it was on the road was 2001 but he said it was runnig last year so please tell me where and what i should look for please.

I also heard that you should check the fuse box, to see if their is any corrosion behind it. Because if that corrodes you will loose all your electicals. I am also looking into venturing into the classic mini market and would be very greatful if someone could give me a rough list of what questions to ask and what sort of things to look for when going to view a mini

Welcome to TMF & nice to see someone using the search feature! As far as the fuse box goes, don't worry about it too much - they're about 15 quid & a doddle to replace. Check for rust - it's mostly quite expensive to repair unless you can do it yourself or know someone who can.

all you need to do is get one with as little rust as poss and and engin that runs the rest is easy

As said check for body rot, if he can't prove it's a runner then assume it isn't and expect the price to reflect that.
