Hi guys, have been building my first engine up, a 1330 I got in bits and was going well until I discovered how many stupid little bits I am missing! Problem now tho is I have a set of SC Jack Knight drops (which I have fitted to the g.box already) but the primary gear seems to be too small to fit on the crank. It looks like it would be the right size if I took out the bush in the end but surely I can't run it without?! Will it have to be machined to fit with new bearings? Need to know so can book it in! Cheers

What you have there is a small bore primary ( ie designed to fit on a 850/998/1098 ) what you need to do is get yourself a 1275 primary, and would advise you to sell the above, as there are people who want them and they are not so easy to get hold of.
