yes i have looked and this engine number 12ABG05241915 i cant find can anyone tell me what it is
the year what car is it from

its a 1275. thats as far as my knowledge of engine numbers go

12A hmmmm,... from memory... it could be from a late Cooper or an Austin Allegro engine.

Definatley 1275...

Check out Bmc engine numbers through Google, (Mini Engine Numbers) It says your engine is off a late cooper A series engine 1275, circa 1960 / 1999
hope this helps

Yeah it's either a late cooper, an allegro or any 1300 auto engine.
