Installing Sound/audio System From Scratch...

I Have recently bought myself a 1994 Rover Mini Sprite (Carb)
It has no radio or speakers or sound system of any kind and am very much in need of installing one. I want to know how simple it is to do? Is it a case of doing everything from scratch, i.e. the wiring? I've noticed this car also has in-line fuses as opposed to blades? (There only 4 and slots for any more!) Would this cause problems for installation? Is it something halfords could do? So far i've managed to get myself a radio cradle and thats about it! Looks like i need an aerial too!
Being a complete novice i would like some advice before i start to pull my dashboard lining out and having a good look!
Cheers guys!

The aerial is a 5 minute job, even I managed to install an aerial from scratch!
You'll need to do it from scratch but I;d have thought a 1994 mini would've had a radio as factory standard? Someone else might be able to confirm this.
IF there is wiring there it will probably be in the form of a white squareish multiplug behind the dash somewhere. If there isn't wiring there and you're a complete novice (like me) its best to either try persuade someone from this forum or someone you know who knows about things like this to come out and have a look and possibly do it for you, or take it to halfords but they'll probably charge you an arm and a leg, that's if they'll do it at all.

Its not too difficult to do anyway, just three wires to get power then you just need to run some speaker cables.
