I'm due to wire in my new head unit and speakers at the weekend, and was wondering if it really mattered what cable I used? Do I really need fancy cable such as THIS?

I have loads of this type of speaker cable, would that do?

Yea, that should do just fine.. they are twin core right??? joined together at the middle?

You only need that high quality stuff when you are running hundreds of amps through the cable, or if you are installing a really expensive high Q system!!

The speaker cable you shown is similar sort of stuff to what you get in the box when you buy speakers anyways.

if you look at the guage of wire coming from the ISO conector u will see that its really thin anyway so puting thick wire on after that would ahve no affect at all
