How are the aftermarket pedal sets attached? I'm talking about the sparco ones like these.

They seem to just have a couple of counter sunk holes in them but they cant screw on can they? Some of them don't even have holes in them?

I'm just wondering as i want to get a set of the sparco ones but can't see how they attach since there not a mini specific product. >_<

Most of them involve drilling 2 holes through the pedals then bolting them through there, although some of the john cooper mini pedals used a hook around the bottom of the pedal and a bar across the back, but most aftermarket ones involve drilling i think!

tut thats abit of a hassle. I CAN IMAGINE SOME OF THEM NOT FITTING AS WELL BECAUSE OF THE SPACING OF THE HOLES AND THE SIZE OF MINI PEDALS!

Anybody fitted pedals like the sparco ones? Looking around there doesn't seem to be many mini specific options availible.

What do most people do to replace the standard rubber pedals?

Yeah i'v seen those and do like them but don't they only fit early cars? Like pre 74 or somthing? I'm sure i read that when i was looking at them. I would love some sporty but classic looking pedals like those but can't find any?

Yeah i kind of want something classic now. The jon cooper ones look good and i like the paddy hopkirk pedal but i don't think it'll fit.

Is there any mini pedals that look classic that'll fit?

Infact will the paddy hopkirk pedal fit? It says only pe 76 cars on minispares because of the small pedal?

Because if they'll fit i'd get:

The hopkirk pedal

with a pair of these

Don't you need some sort of rubber element on the pedal face for grip on the brake and clutch pedal? Think its an mot factor but not sure.
