Is this post for real? Have you bothered to buy a manual? Do you have any tools? Have you done a search to find out more information?

If your knowledge is as limited as your posts imply then it will not be a quick job.

ok we are frendly and we dont need to use this tone

as for taking the engine out there are a few things you need to consider first.

1, do you have an engine hoist, and facilities to reove the engine alone

2 if not consider removing the subframe and engine as a complete unit.

3 why do you need to remove the engine in the first place, most jobs can be done with the engien in situ.

answer these question and we can give you more answers

Also you need patience, alot of the nuts etc could be rusted so need some encouragement to move, or may be in awkward places to reach! Theres always little complications but its fairly simple as it is just nuts and bolts securing the majority of it so you dont need to be an expert but certainly a manual is needed if your not too knowledgeable on how it all works!

I think i would drop the engine out with the subframe as u will get all suspension/brakes ect out of the way also so u can do a better job of painting inner wings ect

Basically two ways, as above...

either engine out with a hoist, block and tackle, or piece of poly prop two strong blokes and a fence post ( don't let Health and Safety hear me saying that but I've done it all three ways ). This way the subframe stays in the car and therefore remains mobile...

or..

Drop the subframe, if all you need is access to the engine bay then I would do it this way... it also means you can get away with removing less from the engine, and you don't disturb engine mounts, driveshafts etc but you will need to disconnect the exhaust, gear linkage, brake system, clutch, remove carb / injection manifold, wiring and a few other bits and bobs...

You could do with a ball joint splitter for the track rod ends and a big socket (1 5/16) for the subframe tower mounts - you'll also need to disconnect a brake line and bleed the brakes afterwards.
