Or not as the case may be.

My name's Edd and I'm from a little RAF base near to Basingstoke, where I spend my working days fixing Chinooks after the pilots have borked them. This weekend (after waiting for just over 3months...) the guy that I bought a Mini off of, finally delivered it! Starting it's journey from County Down in Northern Ireland, it travelled to Larne Port for a ferry crossing to Stranraer, which was then followed by a 425 mile journey down south!
So, may I present the lil' darlin' that made the journey down - Paddy!
Named as the previous owners bought him on St. Patricks Day last year.

He's a 1275cc Mini Cooper, 10yrs old with 60K miles on the clock. Volcano Orange is the colour and he's had pretty much all the rust blasted off (so that's all the A-panels, scuttle, around the headlights, etc) and so he's pretty much sparkling. Naturally with the journey down he managed to collect enough bugs to keep David Bellamy happy for month. So the first port of call was to HellFrauds to get some Anti-Bug Splat Juice, and tomorrow will involved me getting well aquainted with some of Meguires finest.
I've got some plans for Mr Paddy

I wouldn't really call myself new here, having been surfing and reading the threads for 3months, but seeing as I've actually got a Mini now I thought I'd best say hi.
So... HI! *waves*
